“True creativity, that which withstands the test of time, requires a synergy of seemingly different viewpoints, talents and experiences joined together toward a unified heartfelt message.”

“As a young man playing guitar in bands, I realized that learning to capture and record the sounds that Musicians and Singers wanted to hear come from their instruments, and helping Artist develop their own style and sound was my true passion and calling. I still love that process of taking a song, and helping to transform it into a completed work of art.”

“The cliche ‘music speaks where words fail’ is truer than most realize. We can communicate to someone who doesn't speak the same language as us or communicate to a grandparent who can't remember your name. A song can take you back to the same feeling the first time you heard it. Animals and plants seem to understand music. It's the language of the universe and it's why I continue to do what I do day in and day out and love music so much.”

“I've been a musician since about 10 years old. I grew up with music playing in the house all the time. My mom was playing Ray Charles, The Platters and the Righteous Brothers. At the same time, my older brother was playing Bob Dylan, the Beatles and Rolling Stones, all while my older sister was playing all the surf music of The Beach Boys and Jan & Dean. I picked up the guitar around 1969 (about the time my dad left us) and was fortunate enough to be inspired by the singer/ songwriters of the time like James Taylor, John Denver, John Prine and Dan Fogelberg. My guitar became my friend and confidante. I moved to Nashville in 1988 and through a crazy set of events...l picked up a camera. CMT was new and the marriage of music and film were perfect for me.”
